I was told that the Sprint Magic Box will not work with T-Mobile network, then why would my 2 T-Mobile phones were able to get 5 bars once the Magic Box is on? I asked the Sprint Tech help, he has no idea either, thinking maybe T-Mobile did some upgrade to its tower, but he’s not sure. When I turned the box back on, they went back to 5 bars. I decided to do an experiment and turn off the Magic Box, then webt down to 2 bars. Since I have 3 other lines still with Sprint network, I rebooted my Magic Box, those 2 T-Mobile phones changed to 5 bars instead of 2. So I decided to wait, and about an hour or so later, both phones were connected to T-Mobile and have 4G Lite and 2 bars.

I called Sprint Tech help and no one knew how to fix it in the beginning. It took almost an hour or so for the phones to be able to connect to the T-Mobile network after the sim cards were activated. I switched 2 of my 5 lines to T-Mobile sim cards. By the way, I tried the T-Mobile sim cards which will not work for me as the T-Mobile tower is too far away from me. They should have a backup plan for Sprint clients in my area. I just wish T-Mobile did not screw up the towers while they upgrade them. I am seriously thinking going with Verizon but they are so much more expensive, and also I don’t know if the reception will be any better since I live in a rural area. It has been more than a month now and they have no idea when is it going to finish. As they were doing the upgrades, they screwed up the other two Sprint towers, which causing my issues (roaming all the time even though the tower is only 3 miles from me). I talked to Sprint Network desk and they told me T-Mobile has been working on the towers nearby and only one of them were upgraded to T-Mobile which is the farthest one from me. Even if they were connected, we could hardly load any websites until it kept buffing for a while

I have to do several steps (reset network settings, update PRL and profile) before they finally connected to the Magic Box. It kept rebooting itself and after it was rebooted, my phones have difficulty connected to it and were on ROAMING for a long time. In the last 3 days, even my Magic Box didn’t help.
Well, I am back and my issue is getting worse daily.
